Paris is a marvellous city for children.
To make your stay even more pleasant with young ones it is helpful to have some fun destinations. Why choose the Citizen Hotel when travelling with children?
- We have designed our rooms to accommodate up to five people! If you advise us in advance we can even arrange for a crib and a stroller for the young one.
- The iPad is a wonderful tool for children as well as adults because of its ease of use and the availability of music, during naptime or quiet time. Access to the internet is also helpful in searching for children-friendly locations.
- The neighborhood around Canal Saint Martin is ideal for families as you can stroll along the canal and watch the rise and flow of the canal at the locks.

Picnics are also very enjoyable at the water's edge. The Square des Recollets is lovely when the weather is fine,
- And, of course, a ride on the Canal itself is real entertainment, especially with disembarcation at La Villette with its Science Center and The Music Center.
- In our immediate neighborhood, the Pompidou Center/ Beaubourg is a great destination with its Children's Gallery and a wide variety of other activities that are interesting to teachers, parents, children and anyone interested in art, design, meetings with creative types and amateur artists, plus events on Sundays for the entire family.
- Pink Flamingo, just behind the hotel, is a pizzeria that is a fun spot for the young of all ages. Enjoy quick service or take out to enjoy on the Canal.
- Les Buttes de Chaumont, a spacious and whimsical park in the neighborhood, is a dream destination for a stroll with the entire family.

- Le Jardin du Luxembourg, also known as "Le Luco" by the Parisians who have enjoyed it for generations, is an absolutely charming combination of formal gardens and play areas for children. Choose from launching a toy boat at the Main Fountain to riding a pony to frolicking in a large enclosed playground to twirling on the merry go round, to playing tennis and much, much more. There is even a Children's Theater with puppet shows.
- Le Jardin d'Acclimatation, located in Neuilly, is a paradise for children with its small petting zoo, mini golf, little train, enchanted river, puppet shows, boat rides, play areas and many other magical activities. It covers close to 50 acres of open space for year round enjoyment. Metro Line 1 to the Sablons stop. Or from Porte Maillot, take The Little Train which runs through the woods to the Main Entrance of the Park.
- The Aquarium at Trocadero is a state of the art aquarium located across from the Eiffel Tower. You'll find the largest fish tank in Paris with more than 9000 fish and dozens of sharks. There is also the unique CineAqua which is a space with animated films where you will discover cultural, educational and entertaining presentations made possible by the latest technologies.

Atelier TOK TOK for children aged 5-7 and 8-10, the Palais de Tokyo organizes daily activities during school holidays. It is a wonderful respite from the traditional classroom and offers a creative departure to playfully discover works of art.
